I have always had an affinity for vintage film posters. Maybe it is the fond memories I have as a child seeing them in the windows of the theater. You would look at these posters for months anxiously awaiting the arrival of those much anticipated titles. Vintage movie posters are a memento of a time when print media and advertisements were the norm. There was not internet broadcasting movie trailers in high definition quality. Film posters were the way we were told of an upcoming release.
Today, I love to collect these magical vintage film posters. I love the old, antique look that some of them have. I enjoy seeing and feeling the thickness of the paper stock they are printed on. You can even get lost in the printing and color used for these vintage film posters, because they usually are an accurate reflection of the time in which the film was released.
